After a brief stint in prison, Scott returns to his idyllic hometown to make amends with his childhood best friend. But it's not as easy as he had hoped.
This short film is Lain's NYU Thesis. For this comedic take on the town she grew up on, Lain traveled her entire cast and crew from New York to her hometown outside of Chicago and took on the challenge of directing both a 300lb alligator and a 9ft boa constrictor, as well as a cast of four. Ultimately, the film is about what we'll do for our friends and the intimate bond that exists in close friendships.
