She has held the titles of Production Coordinator, Assistant Director, Editor and more at companies like BBC Worldwide and 1st Avenue Machine. Lain's personal film works have been presented at film festivals across the US and her one act plays have been performed at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, The Strawberry One Act Festival, the Midtown International Theatre Festival and the East End Fringe Festival.
Lain lives in Brooklyn, where she writes, bakes pastries and makes friends with all the stray cats she meets.
